Data Protection Policy of
Tapetenfabrik Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co. KG

The following Data Protection Policy applies to the collection, processing and use of user and customer data by Tapetenfabrik Gebr. Rasch GmbH & Co. KG (referred to below as “Rasch”).

§ 1 Data collection, processing and use
1. Rasch collects, processes and uses the user’s and customer’s personal data (e.g. title, name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, telefax number, bank account details, credit card number) on the basis of and subject to compliance with the data protection laws, particularly the TMG (Telemedia Act) and the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act).

2. Personal data, to the extent that these are necessary for the establishment, content structuring or amendment of the contractual relationship (master data), shall exclusively be used by Rasch for contract processing, such as for sending goods to the specified address. Further use of master data for purposes of advertising, market research or demand-based designing of the offers by Rasch shall require the explicit consent of the user or customer. This declaration of consent shall occur voluntarily and can be revoked by the user or customer on the Rasch website, as well as by the user or customer at any time (see § 4).

3. Personal data, which are necessary in order to facilitate and invoice (utilisation data) the use of offers by Rasch, shall initially also be exclusively used by Rasch for contract processing. Such use data are specifically the characteristics for identification as a user, details about the start and end, as well as the scope of the relevant use and details about the teleservices used by the user or customer. Furthermore, Rasch shall use such utilisation data for purposes of advertising, market research or demand-based designing of teleservices for the creation of utilisation profiles, using pseudonyms. The user or customer is entitled and has the opportunity to object to this use of his utilisation data (see § 4). Under no circumstances will utilisation profiles be combined with the relevant data.


§ 2 Data disclosure
Rasch shall not disclose data to third parties without the consent of the user or customer or without legal permission, provided that legal, official or judicial regulations, ordinances or orders do not obligate Rasch to disclose this data.

§ 3 Cookies
Rasch shall collect, process and use the utilisation data, inter alia, using so-called cookies. The purpose of these cookies is to identify the user or customer during his visit to the Rasch website. The cookies are stored on the user’s or customer’s computer. They automatically lapse at the end of the session.


§ 4 Cancellation of consent, objection to use and information
In the event that the user or customer requires further information or intends to revoke or cancel the consent explicitly granted by him to use his master data or object to the use of his utilisation data, Rasch can be contacted at the following address, also by telephone, telefax or e-mail:

§ 5 Changes to the Data Protection Policy
Rasch reserves the right to change this Data Protection Policy at any time. Rasch shall inform users or customers, whose data are already stored, by e-mail no later than four weeks prior to the changes taking effect.
