Verity

What is truth? It is beauty which goes beyond the exterior, and which makes visible the essence of things. It is an expression of personality in a new dimension, subtle or dramatic, always unseen, always emotional. Verity, the first collection from Rasch 1861, is an architectural statement. The imitation of natural surfaces with materials such as metal foils, a great variety of fleeces, textiles, flocking, fine crystal glass pearls, and other special materials, many of them newly created for this collection; the use of manufacturing techniques such as laminating, pressing, embossing, and appliqué – in combination, these have resulted in “designing by machine”. The uniquely luxurious appeal of the surfaces and textures only came into being through the combination of a wide range of materials, wallpaper techniques, and processing stages.
